Project Work
Full Art Documentation Termly
Comprehensive Art Theories & Techniques
Lessons using the wonder art and project-work approach focus on children’s learning process. It honours the child’s desires, feelings, interests and theories. It honours the child’s developmental pace and enables them to formulate their thinking through art making. It gives children the prerogative to slow down when their curiosity draws them in or accelerate their learning gears when inspired by a spontaneous idea.
Finally, wonder art emphasises children’s narratives and their voices. Hence, parents will receive a short documentation for every term on their child’s art learning experience one week after the term ends. In general, there is no fixed amount of artwork done in programmes under this model, and the documentation of children’s learning process also counts as an art output from the children.
Focused Thematic
Thematic Project Work Driven
Selective Art Theories & Techniques
Simple Art Documentation Termly
Art programmes under this approach enable children to explore and develop an interest in specific areas of art-making. Children follow a structured framework that guides their ideas and inquiries about a particular theme or project. The projects are a combination of teacher-framed and child-initiated activities.
The curriculum will focus on developing children artistically through art projects and only cover some art elements, design principles, theories, and techniques through art activities and lessons.
The projects in these programmes are shorter and produce a fixed number of artworks each term. Parents will receive a simple documentation for their child but photographs with simple narrations of their art-making process at the end of each term.
